Programming Your Vehicle

1. Turn the Ignition ON

Switch the vehicle ignition ON without starting the engine. Make sure the vehicle is stationary.

2. Locate the OBD-II Port

The OBD-II port is located on the driver’s side of the vehicle, near the kick panel.

3. Plug in the OBD Programmer

Insert the OBD Programmer firmly into the vehicle’s OBD-II port.

4. Wait for Programming to Complete

The OBD Programmer will automatically begin by backing up your vehicle’s current configuration. It will then identify the required configuration and begin programming your vehicle.

During programming, you may see the instrument cluster restart on its own. This is completely normal and is part of the programming process.

Do not unplug the OBD Programmer or switch the ignition OFF while programming is in progress.

5. Wait for the GREEN Light

Once programming has successfully completed, the LED on the OBD Programmer will turn solid GREEN.

6. You can now safely unplug the OBD Programmer.

Your new feature or configuration is now ready to use.

Returning Your Vehicle to Factory Settings

During the first programming session, the OBD Programmer securely stores the vehicle’s original factory configuration, allowing the vehicle to be restored back to its original settings at any time by plugging the programmer back into the same vehicle.

To return your vehicle to its original configuration:

  1. Turn the ignition ON without starting the engine.

  2. Plug the OBD Programmer back into the same vehicle.

  3. The LED will alternate RED and GREEN quickly while the original configuration is being restored.

  4. The instrument cluster may restart during this process. This is normal.

  5. Do not unplug the OBD Programmer or switch the ignition OFF during this process.

  6. Wait until the LED turns solid GREEN.

  7. Unplug the OBD Programmer.

Your vehicle has now been returned to its original configuration.

Important

The OBD Programmer becomes locked to the first vehicle it is programmed to and cannot be transferred between vehicles.

Never unplug the OBD Programmer, start the engine or switch the ignition OFF while programming is in progress.
