The Lane Assist Remember Last Setting OBD Programmer allows your Ford Ranger Super Duty to retain the Lane Assist setting selected during your previous drive.

If Lane Assist was switched off, it remains off after restarting. If it was left enabled, it remains enabled.

How to use it

1. Switch the ignition ON without starting the engine.
2. Connect the programmer firmly to the OBD-II port.
3. Leave it connected while the green LED is flashing.
4. Wait until the LED becomes solid green.
5. Remove the programmer once programming is complete.

Do not switch off the ignition, disconnect the vehicle battery or unplug the programmer during programming.

If the red and green LEDs alternate quickly, the device is safely correcting or restoring a setting. Leave it connected until the LED becomes solid green.

Protected and reversible programming

Before making a change, the programmer stores the relevant existing configuration.

Programming is performed as a controlled sequence of operations. If an unexpected interruption occurs, the device is designed to recover and restore the values successfully changed during that session.

The same programmer can later restore the Lane Assist feature to the configuration recorded during first use. This applies only to the feature managed by this programmer and is not a whole-vehicle factory reset.

Vehicle compatibility

Compatible with supported Australian-market Ford Ranger Super Duty vehicles.

Compatibility may be affected by the vehicle’s model year, module software, existing configuration, aftermarket equipment or previous FORScan and third-party programming.

Vehicle Lock

The programmer permanently pairs with the first compatible vehicle to which it is connected.

It cannot be transferred to another vehicle or returned for change of mind after connection. Keep the programmer with its paired vehicle so the feature can be restored or reapplied if required.

Dealer software updates

A Ford dealer software update may overwrite the programmed configuration. If this occurs, the paired programmer can generally be reconnected to reapply the feature where supported.
