The Additional Drive Mode OBD Programmer enables factory-style Sport Mode in compatible Ford Ranger Super Duty vehicles.

Sport Mode is designed to provide a more responsive and engaging driving experience through the vehicle’s supported factory systems.

The Ranger Super Duty already includes Rock Crawl Mode as standard. This programmer adds Sport Mode only.

Connect the standalone programmer to the vehicle’s OBD-II port, wait for programming to complete, then remove it. No laptop, FORScan, subscription or coding experience is required.

This programmer does not tune the engine or directly increase engine power.

How to use it

1. Switch the ignition ON without starting the engine.
2. Connect the programmer firmly to the OBD-II port.
3. Leave it connected while the green LED flashes.
4. Wait until the LED becomes solid green.
5. Remove the programmer.

Do not switch off the ignition, disconnect the battery or unplug the programmer while programming is in progress.

Protected and reversible programming

Before changing the vehicle configuration, the programmer stores the relevant original settings. If programming is unexpectedly interrupted, it is designed to recover the values successfully changed during that session.

The same paired programmer can later restore the Drive Mode configuration recorded during first use.

Vehicle compatibility

Compatible with supported Australian-market Ford Ranger Super Duty vehicles.

Compatibility may be affected by vehicle software, factory equipment, existing configuration, aftermarket equipment or previous FORScan and third-party programming. Contact DUTYTEK before ordering if you are uncertain about compatibility.

Important VIN-lock information

The programmer permanently pairs with the first compatible vehicle connected to it. It cannot be transferred to another vehicle or returned for change of mind after connection.

Keep the programmer with its paired Ranger so Sport Mode can be restored or reapplied if required.

Dealer software updates

A Ford dealer software update may overwrite the programmed configuration. If this occurs, the paired programmer can generally be reconnected to reapply Sport Mode where supported.
