The Silent Mode OBD Programmer changes the supported vehicle configuration in a compatible Ford Ranger Super Duty to reduce or disable selected warning chimes and sounds.
Connect the standalone programmer to the OBD-II port, allow programming to complete, then remove it. No laptop, FORScan, subscription or coding experience is required.

The exact sounds affected depend on the vehicle’s software and factory configuration. Silent Mode does not necessarily disable every warning or safety alert.
How to use it
- Switch the ignition ON without starting the engine.
- Connect the programmer firmly to the OBD-II port.
- Leave it connected while the green LED flashes.
- Wait until the LED becomes solid green.
- Remove the programmer.
Do not switch off the ignition, disconnect the battery or unplug the programmer during programming.
Protected and reversible programming
The programmer stores the relevant original configuration before making a change. The same paired programmer can later restore the Silent Mode configuration recorded during first use.
Compatibility and Vehicle lock
Compatible with supported Australian-market Ford Ranger Super Duty vehicles, subject to software and existing configuration.
The programmer permanently pairs with the first compatible vehicle connected to it and cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
If Silent Mode has already been programmed by another individual programmer or Program Kit, this programmer may detect the existing configuration and skip the programming step. The programmer that originally changed the feature remains responsible for restoring it.
